Description
apparently unmarked, possibly German, the chalice of goblet form, gilt interior, presentation engraving to body for the best teacher on the 14th August 1888 in Züllichau, Germany, the body with six embossed bosses, each with scroll detail, surmounted by cast acanthus detail, the knopped stem to a domed foot with similar scroll bosses, the cover also with six embossed scroll bosses, the finial cast figure with scythe and cut wheat
