A George III suite of two silver tea caddies and a sugar box
London, circa 1750
the pair of tea caddies of inverted pear shape with plain lower section, the shoulders with border of scroll and flower head garlands, with matted ground, the domed upper rim with simple acanthus decorated border, the pull off cover with reeded border and with cast shell thumb piece; the sugar vase of oval section and inverted pear shape with similar decoration, the cover with scroll, foliate and shell decoration, all contained within a later wooden box (4)
