Paul de Lamerie, London 1734-35
of typical flared cylindrical form with facetted spout with large scroll-formed mask, the faceted spout finely chased with cross hatched and foliate running designs and with bird head terminal to spout, engraved to opposing side with armorial and crest, the simple shell detail socket mounted C-scroll wooden handle with capped terminal with mask detail, the domed hinged cover with chased foliate and scroll running border around squat urn finial
